MUSEUM OF FARMING AND REGIONAL HISTORY

SCHIMMERT – THE NETHERLANDS
…it’s worth a discovery….
Our museum in Schimmert contains a large collection of old tractors, machines and (domestic) appliances.
In the garden and the field next to it you can see flowers, vegetables, fruits and plants you would have found growing on a farm during the
first half of the past century.
Visiting our museum is an excellent trip for children as well as the elderly and anyone in between.
We can cater for groups of up to 15 people.
The museum is accessible for wheelchairs and the toilets are equipped with a hoist and fully accessible for the disabled.
From April till September there are displays of old metiers (ploughing up with horses, sowing, trashing etc.). These take place once a month.

We have a terrace where you can enjoy a coffee, tea or lemonade.
It’s also possible to order “limburgse vlaai” (a local pie) or sandwiches (to be ordered at least a day in advance).
We are open all year from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Saturdays we are closed.
The entrance fee is € 1,50.
